Bitcoin Price Predictions

in #bitcoin7 years ago

So how do the experts explain the Bitcoin price variations now? I mean I have read a lot about Elliot waves, and all other types of forecasting tools used by "experts". OK so these forecasting tools work in a stock exchange, for shares, stocks, bonds, better said the usual trading markets, apparently they don't work with Bitcoin.

This year I have seen predicitons of all types and all of them were wrong, the only thing that has been certain about Bitcoin this year is that it can stall for a little while or even take a dive but eventually it goes above where it was before.

Bottom line, experts can't tell you anything because they might have knowledge as traders but this market is new, they have no idea about how it works, as does no one. So all I can say is you have to go by feeling, if you think you have a chance of making money go for it, if not just leave it alone, listening to experts will get you nowhere.

For example I've seen people here who talked wonders about BTC for months and used all sorts of graphs and formulas praising BTC and then started bashing it when a slump happened, and said that they knew that would happen and the bubble had burst, now these same guys are saying that they all along always knew BTC was going up. So frankly they know nothing, they just follow the flow.

The Rigor of a theory is directly proportional to it's ability to predict the future. Apparently some of those 'theories' of how bitcoin (and the economy ) operates needs some work.
