What Does Google Trends Say About Bitcoin?
Google trends has generally been a way track the bitcoin price.
As more people get interested in bitcoin, google bitcoin searches go up, and so does the price.
Let’s see where we are today compared to the last bull run.
The google trend chart below shows bitcoin over the last year.
As you can see we are at all time highs over the last year, having just surpassed the high in mid-May.
But let’s take a moment to look at bitcoin Google trends over a longer time frame.
The chart below shows the last five years.
As you can see, at a current reading of 17, we’re not even close to the high set in December 2017.
That tells me we have a ways to go before we reach any sort of mania.
