Forecasting on Wings – TriForce
We’ve got a couple new projects on WINGS in PolySwarm and TriForce.
Yesterday I took a look at PolySwarm. Today it’s TriForce. Forecasting on TriForce lasts until February 20, the same day the pre-sale starts.
TriForce is a gaming play. It wants TriForce tokens to become the industry standard on multiple gaming platforms. It wants to offer player-to-player trading and new ways for players to monetize their gaming. It uses a unique honorary system that rewards collaborative game play.
Developers will be able to help attract and retain players with TriForce and create their own digital empires.
The gaming industry is large and is expected to generate over $125 billion in revenues by 2020. But there’s problems for developers. They loses 30% of their revenues to game platforms, it takes several weeks to receive payouts, and they also lose out due to piracy. For players the problem is that they don’t have many ways to profit from their gaming, and even if they do, it’s usually contained in one ecosystem.
TriForce aims to solve these problems with player-to-player trading, additional revenue opportunities and quick payouts for developers, and anti-piracy measures to protect against fraud. Everything will run through a Player Dashboard which is used by both players and developers.
The pre-sale starts on February 20. There will be a total of 2 billion FORCE tokens and 75% will be distributed in the token sale. Early investors get a discount of up to 25%.
There’s a soft cap of $500,000. The hard cap is not so concrete. On Wings it says the hard cap is $60 million. On the website the hard cap is $20 million. On the pitch deck it says it’s aiming to raise over $20 million. On the one-pager it says the hard cap is $55 million. And in the white paper it says $60 million. It’s hard to know what’s going on with such differences in information.
Gaming is a highly competitive space for crypto. You already have players like GAME, ENJ, and WAX.
For this one I’m looking at what the Wings whales are forecasting, and that’s a range of $6 to $15 million. I’m going to forecast $12 million.
