Checking Out Tron Dapps
TRON (TRX) is one of the largest blockchain-based operating systems in the world and its goal is to decentralize the web.
The TRON Protocol offers public blockchain support of high throughput, high scalability, and high availability for all Decentralized Applications (DApps) in the TRON ecosystem.
It’s run by its highly visible CEO, Justin Sun.
And use of Tron DApps are gaining momentum… more on that below.
According to Dapp Review, dapps on the Tron network facilitated $1.6 billion in activity in the first quarter of 2019, with more than 432,000 estimated users.
First, let’s compare that to the other two major dapp players, Ethereum and EOS.
From Dapp Review:
We can see EOS remains the leader in total users and transactions. Ethereum has the most dapps but lacks transaction volume. What’s interesting about Tron is the spikes in volume, including doing over $100 million during March.
A closer look at Tron specifically.
With steady growth in users and dapps we should see the transactions and volume grow as well.
The #1 dapp category for Tron is gaming. Folks like to gamble.
A couple of these dapps are doing over $1m daily… pretty cool.
