Checking Out Charlie Shrem Pick Genesis Vision (GVT)

I learned about this project from this video with Charlie Shrem.

Genesis Vision is a platform for the private trust management market.

Genesis vision combines exchanges, brokers, traders, and investors into a decentralized network. So it has the whole ecosytem in one place.

According to the Genesis Vision white paper you can use the app to build an investment strategy from scratch or choose from GVT’s AI-generated invesment portfolios.

What’s unique is that each manager has his own unique cryptocurrency.

Any manager token, one bought during your investment, can be sold on the internal exchange at any time.

Investments and profit distributions are transparent and carried out by smart contracts.

The benefit for both the investor and the manager is access to a global audience. There’s also the transparency of the blockchain, easier reporting, and better liquidity for investors.

What’s less clear is how it will deal with regulations on local levels. Even though the GVT token may not be security token itself, it certainly seems like buying the manager’s token would be.

Here’s a look at the GVT token. There’s a total of roughly 4.4 million GVT tokens, its an ERC 20 token, and it’s needed to get in and out of manager’s funds.

Keep in mind this is a work in progress. Genesis Vision is using its token sale proceeds to finish development of the platform. Version 1 release could come by the end of 2018.
