The Bitcoin is again spinning: the digital currency lost more than $ 2,500 in just a few hours and is trading around $ 13,000 in the morning. The currency reached $ 13.1 thousand overnight, compared to $ 15.5 thousand 12 hours ago.

Following the sharp drop, trading in US Bitcoin Futures futures has temporarily stalled, and the current level of Bitcoin is about 28% lower than the Sunday high of $ 19,500.

On Monday, South Korea's YouBit platform (formerly Yapizon) filed for bankruptcy, after being the victim of cybercrime. This is the second breakthrough for the platform, which erased 17% of its assets.

Last April, the platform suffered a burglary that resulted in the theft of some 4,000 Bitcoin, leading to an investigation by the country's intelligence services for fear of North Korean involvement. According to a report by the Internet Security Organization of South Korea (KISA) published in the newspaper Chosun Ilbo, in previous attacks in South Korea were stolen virtual coins worth 7.6 billion dollars.

Other virtual currencies also suffered blows this week. Yesterday the EtherDelta exchange was breached and replaced yesterday by a fake site that transfers the currencies traded directly into the pockets of the hackers.
