whoa. bitcoin heading much higher, check out this chart.
this is a screenshot I took of the New York Stock Exchange Bitcoin Index. Notice the MACD indicator at the bottom. See how it's crossed over as bullish? And this is a ONE YEAR chart. MACD went bullish on ONE YEAR, heading much higher it seems!

NOTE: Last time it had a bullish MACD crossover on the 1-year chart was when it ran from $1100 to $2800 O.o This might be going much, much higher than $3k in the next 6 months - 1 year.

I guess maybe slightly a different calc. from the 'cryptowat.ch' site. For example https://cryptowat.ch/bitstamp/btcusd/3d looks like it might go green, and 1-day is green......however, just before that segwit spike the 1-week MACD had gone red! My experience is that longer term macd's normally triumph in the end, but sometimes MACD going red can just mean sideways, or even slightly up (not only downwards). That's why I prefer EMA cross-overs for more definitive decision making; but often if you wait for a cross-over you miss a lot or even all of the potential gain. That's why I prefer MACDs for making calculated gambles! ;)

After looking at some of the other time frames, it looks like it could be a few more days of it being slightly lower before bast off.
The 90 day (1 hour) chart shows it MIGHT curve over, as you see here:
so, short term, for coming weeks, might go down slightly. but that 1 year crossover is gorgeous and tells me that long term, at least a few months out, we should be solid to clear $3k. :D
