The Mainstream Perception of Cryptocurrency
Hey guys,
I spent last night with a group of friends that definitely got caught up in the hype of crypto over Christmas. Even the few that got in earlier than the rest and were true believers are just laughing at it, either having puked the lows or gone.
In a market cycle, this is the definition of dumb money leaving the market and being accumulated by the savvy institutions and funds that are working behind the scenes on crypto related projects.
Remember that while price has been dropping, the underlying industry around crypto, has actually been going gangbusters.
I just found it really interesting to listen to mainstream opinions on crypto. It’s all done as far as they’re concerned. You know what that tells me?
Buy Bitcoin.

The value is starting to be perceived as prices have come back down. With all of the potential capital in the space over the last year, we should start to see how technology improves to assist in adoption rates which will add demand once again. I would also say that it will also lead to potential in other assets as well as they execute their roadmaps.
I definitely agree. Prices are going to catch up to the investments we’ve seen around the space, it’s just a matter of time!

My friend's husband works in the finance industry and he says that the ones that believe that crypto will go away are idiots...
