Restaurant in New York only accepts “cryptos” — NOT VISA /AMEX — interesting

A French restaurant in Manhattan late last year started to “only accept cryptos” for payment. This is a rather unique story, not sure how I missed this before.
Let’s not forget that LitePay is also launching this month. This new Litecoin “debit like card” can be also be used to convert your litecoin at point of purchase where a retailer only accepts USD.
I think the recent LitePay / Litecoin announcement may be one of the reasons Litecoin appeared to be a little stronger than the other cryptos yesterday.

Very good news especially litecoin. Continue buying this dip. Some other cryptos are developing the debit card also

Very true....all it’s going to take is one big announcement to come out and people are going to say “why are crypto’s so low from 2 months ago”....nothing changed.
These are really small instances of a really HUGE move. Businesses are getting tired of being scammed by fraudulent CC purchases and 3% - 6% fees and gateway charges.
Crypto is the future and we are seeing it unfold.

Litepay would be a game changer... in my opinion it will push ltc close to bitcoin.
It’s a great step...now we just need a few big names like Amazon and Facebook :-)
