Bitcoin - Ethereum ---- the truth is they both will win -- the BEST technology doesn't always grab #1 market share
I saw a great you tube by Andreas Antonopolous (see source below), he made a great analogy:
" Bitcoin is a Lion and Ethereum is a Shark, both are perfectly suited for their environments. They both are the best at what they do. A shark can't do much on land and Lion is not much of a threat to a shark in the water"
He also said "the best technology does not always prevail as the #1 market share leader for various reasons".
Classic Example with Microsoft and IBM
- APPLE vs IBM PC /microsoft-- remember this war when PC's first came out ??? IMB PC's were the darling of the corporate world. They had a very bad Microsoft DOS (Disk Operating System) before Windows vs Apple Mactintosh and the great look and feel ---- it didn't matter corporate america felt safe with IBM. The old saying "nobody get fired for buying IBM" and it was that way for 5+ years --- but then it changed over time.
- IBM PC had several good word processors back then. When Microsoft came out with Microsoft Word --- it took over the top spot --- it wasn't the best --- but it was the leader.
- Microsoft today OWNS the PC software operating system space -- not that it is the best --- because it was first in corporate America,
Ethereum and Bitcoin
I see the same the BTC and ETH vs the others for now. Both are very strongly positioned. Both are seen as having significant differing strengths.
Ethereum Alliance with corporate America and elsewhere is a large advantage.

This is an important point to keep in mind when investing in cryptocurreny. Antonopoulos has a gift for making these concepts understandable so I appreciate the post. Upvoted and following!
As a side note, is it just me or do Jobs and Gates both look rather evil? Jobs more overtly so, as he looks to me like he'd whack his own grandma if she was in the way, while Gates looks more the ivory tower sort....
you are correct on both accounts...LOL They are evil or were...and Andreas is just a great speaker....makes it simple.
