The Chairman of the CME Group (Chicago Mercantile Exchange) suggests that bitcoin will become a new “asset class”.

You are saying ...please explain.

In investments of Wall Street, big money and investors seek “diversification” from risk. They know that all assets classes (stocks, bonds, gold, real estate etc...) do not appreciate the same. Some even look for hedge funds which is essentially zero correlation.

Bitcoin is one of those investments that is “zero correlation”

What do you mean zero correlation? It means Bitcoin rises and falls on it’s own and has nothing to do with the stock market. And it’s history has been quite good to the upside — so investors may like this for a small percentage of their portfolio.

The confusing chart below tries to show how the various asset classes relate — no need to study this.

The CME Group is even more focused on the “big tuna’s” who play at another level.

To me all this only means HUGE things for Bitcoin (and others).

Imagine if stocks tank —- people will move some money to Bitcoin and if stocks rise — they are more wealthy and may want to invest some in crypto’s.

Even in the currency markets — do you you think they like diversification and returns? Here is from 2015....we know in 2017 Bitcoin is up 1400%

Watch for the next 40 days as people get back to work and Wall Street put’s money to work.

This is not investment advice....it’s Christmas.

Bitcoin is the best way to earn money when the value of bitcoin goes down purchase bitcoin when the value goes up sell out

For me , I am a HODLER :-)

Good explained may be he is right !

Actully the last 10 times the S&P dropped 5% or more so did bitcoin it has more correlation then you think

We need more time....but I know what you are saying. I think the market dropped 20% as a example — people would flee more to BTC for safety in a strange way.

Well explained, followed and upvoted.

Thank you so much :-)

Sounds like big money is coming in, I'm HODLing my coins.

We will watch and wait....hodling :-)
