11 out of top 12 bitcoin miners indicate support for the New York Agreement (SegWit2x)

in #bitcoin8 years ago (edited)

The last 12 hours show that more than 90% of the mined blocks now signal support for SegWit2x. They do so by including "/NYA/" in the Coin Base Text. In the top 12 of miners only Slush Pool is not doing this (yet).

Currently I see the following signalling:

  1. Antpool : BU+SegWit2x
  2. BTC.TOP : BU+SegWit2x
  3. Bixin : SegWit+SegWit2x
  4. BTCC : SegWit+SegWit2x
  5. BTC.com : SegWit2x
  6. F2Pool : SegWit+SegWit2x
  7. ViaBTC : SegWit2x
  8. BW.COM : SegWit2x
  9. Slush Pool : BU&SegWit
  10. BitFury : SegWit+SegWit2x
  11. BitClub : SegWit+SegWit2x
  12. 1Hash : SegWit2x

Are we really heading towards a peaceful solution of the scaling problem?

Update:

The above mentioned 90% has dropped to around 80% because some pools quit signalling /NYA/ .

BTCC pool is not signalling /NYA/ in the most recent blocks and the Bitmain pools BTC .COM and Antpool have stopped signalling /NYA/ in some of the blocks they create, e.g. 472251, 472197 and 472193.
