from what i know about the family (saw a good documentary) it will probably be something sinister
they must be one of the biggest opposers of the blockchain and cryptocurrency. The biggest reason being that it is a threat to their fortune, they control about 95% of all national banks in the world.

since we know that bitcoin and co could be threat to the centralized banking industry this investment is probably a first move by them to control something that cannot be controlled (hopefully they will realize this soon enough) unless they are trying to crash the crypto market in order to protect theirs (traditional banking)
