WeMakePrice, one of South Korea's largest e-commerce sites, offers cryptographic payment option

 WeMakePrice, also known as Wemepu, one of South Korea's largest e-commerce sites, is beginning to accept payments with crypto currencies.The company plans to add 12 different crypto currencies , inculiding Bitcoin, Ethereum and Litecoin, to their payment options, which will work jointly with Bithumb, the country's largest cryptographic exchange.

WeMakePrice becomes the first South Korean e-commerce site to accept payment by crypt money

According to local media, WeMakePrice is cooperating with Bithumb on adding crypto currencies to its existing payment platform OneThePay. Once the integration is complete, existing WeMakePrice users will be able to purchase products and services using crypto currencies.

No Bithumb registration requirement

While Bithumb cryptographic currencies are directing the integration process to the WeMakePrice system, users will not have to sign up to Bithumb to use the crypto currencies in the WeMakePrice platform.Since crypto currencies will be integrated into the existing infrastructure, users will be able to easily make payments without needing an additional application.

"Part of a bigger initiative"

Speaking to HanKyoReh from South Korea's mainstream media outlets, the spokesman, WeMakePrice, said the company has decided to include cryptographic currencies as part of a larger initiative to ease the payment process for consumers.

Another mainstream media outlet in the country, Ocutnews, reported that this was a major e-commerce platform and retail experience for the first time. Previously, no e-commerce site had offered cryptographic currencies as a primary payment option.
