You are not accounting for the rule that triangles can never happen in wave 2. This rule cannot be broken.
So it would have to be wave 4. If you pull off logscale you will see that a wave 4 is very unlikely because of the huge disproportion (in time and distance traveled) to the corresponding wave 2.
