March 11th: Dash and Eth Maid flight to safety
If the bitcoin etf is denied which coins will people buy?
I think it's fair to say some people have purchased bitcoins expecting for the etf to be approved on march 11th.. If it doesn't get approved, they will want to sell but what will they buy?
Cash
Maybe a few will convert to their native currencies. Also if they were levered they'll likely reduce leverage.
Dash
With dash now solidly in the top 3 currencies and with clear reasons to expect more demand this year( evolution) perhaps some will change bitcoin for dash?
Ethereum
With enterprise applications heating up, there is a feeling that corporate adoptions could eventually follow. I have no idea if this will happen but it has gotten more expensive as late to buy eth.
Maidsafe
There has been all this talk about a new version of megaupload.
Steem
Desperately needs to fix reward curve but the next hard fork with the comment pool and the ability to pay 3rd party apps, paired with the end of the selling from the change in lockup could breathe. Re life into the platform.

This turns out to be a good of prediction .
Steemit is more unique than we realize. There is and has been nothing like it before.
This is why it is difficult to convince people of what it is about.
People have gradually, very slowly, become brainwashed by Facebook in that they just take it for granted that their content should be freely taken for Zuckerberg to use as he wants which increases his bank balance. People have become trapped in the FB algorithm bubble and some are even happy in it.
I learned that only last year.
Remember that Steemit is literally just born.
It took seven years for Facebook to be in profit.
I believe that if Steemit can survive the next three years then it will explode. History shows that it takes an event to kick start something into the forefront of the publics imagination. Remember the film "Social Network" telling of how FBook was made. That was released in 2010. Seven years ago. Many had never even heard of Facebook until that film came out.
In these fast times we live in die to trying to keep up with technology, a week can feel like a long time. But although technology moves fast, people do not.
Stay strong.
Keep faith and post positive things.
Change will come and Steemit will grow.
And one day, may be not today and may be not tomorrow, but one day in the future, all of us here will be able to say to our children and grandchildren.
"I was there, I was one of the first to join Steemit because I was of the first recognize a new way"
And your grandson sitting on your knee will respond;

Definitely unique but I wish it was more like reddit
Steam it needs to increase its market cap and bring a lot of new users to the platform. Every day you should be inviting three people to Steemit and showing them how to power up.
I don't think they'll buy steem.
I already tried to convince people this summer and they are laughing at me.
