Lightning Network, the person-to-person (P2P) network built on Bitcoin that allows payments and micropayments to be transferred from cryptocurrencies instantaneously, continues to develop its capabilities to offer customers more efficient experiences in the blockchain. In this sense, the team behind its development has announced that it is testing a new option to exchange bitcoins for altcoins more quickly.

The developer of the platform, Alex Bosworth, published on his Twitter account that is already available in the testnet the possibility of transferring and exchanging test coins Bitcoin cash, litecoin, dash and ether, experience that can live directly from the Bilumino website:

The test cryptoactives will be distributed free of charge on the platform so that all interested parties can verify the functioning of the blockchain. The tokens will also be placed in a Bitgo web wallet.

The community has responded positively to this new capacity that the Lightning Network will have, highlighting that the platform works correctly and in other cases the need to add new features for its proper functioning.

For example, the user @JuanLinux reported that after making a transaction with ethers on the gate.io platform, the movement was not reflected in the blockchain; an event that proves that this initiative still has a lot to develop before going live.
