How the IMF and central banks views crypto is very important to observe. If a government sees crypto as a threat, and not a tool that can help grow it's economy, that spells trouble. I've always thought cryptos can help governments in the fact that they wouldn't have to keep printing their fiat into oblivion, which hurts it's purchasing power, and instead embrace a crypto that could used along side it's currency in day to day transactions. A country that does this would ensure that monies from all over the world would flow through that country and help lift it's GDP.
