Someone from a blockchain company here in Taipei told me that China is moving to do the same thing they did with Facebook and Google. i.e., block them so they can grow their own, homegrown technology.
As you know, FB is not accessible in China, and Google pulled out on its own.
China might decide to make it difficult for "foreign" technology - i.e. Ethereum, but make it easier for any homegrown tech.
Or they might launch their own nationalized blockchain, and ban all others. I could totally see China doing that.
