Bitcoin is a Flip Phone

Fiat is a desktop calculator.

Just look at how sturdy this thing is. Check out those solar cells! This thing powers itself! It's never going to break... until it does. Why would anyone want anything more?

Bitcoin is a flip phone

It's done things that no desktop calculator has ever done before, but it leaves us wanting more. It's cool, but wouldn't it be nice if some improvements could be made?

Privacy coins are burner phones.

Want to hide your activity? Burner phones are the phones for you. You've paid with cash, so the link back to your identity is very thin. Privacy is important.

Steem is a Blackberry.

Is it a flip phone? Is it a smartphone? No! It's the sad hybrid of the two. Steem's API makes it very powerful, but it's lack of smart contracts are cause for concern. Perhaps SMTs will solve this issue? Who knows. However, the smartphones out there have apps that very few people are using. At least our blackberry has one.

smart-contract == smart-phone

Money that can embed itself directly into software? Count me in! The problem here is a general lack of innovation and an extreme abundance of underdevelopment. Cryptokitties? Really? That's what you came up with? FML. Not to worry... I can play the waiting game. They'll come up with something.

Sort:

Comparing steem to a blackberry, not a good idea though, since blackberry actually exited the smarphones business... let's hope the same doesn't happen to steem and SMT turn things around!

Luckily the blockchain is software and not hardware. Any upgrades made can be done quickly and worldwide; free of charge. The biggest thing that makes a blockchain is community.

im sure you are in this already but if not check out Thought Id reach out, i was pitched to join IQ airdrop, want in on the InitiativeQ airdrop? Basically Ripple # 2 made by some PayPal guys and Larry White , https://initiativeq.com/invite/SQopwQzS7

Also millions of people still use Blackberry. How many people use Steem? 60K? Even if we're doomed to fail we haven't even come close to peaking.

@edicted, great way to explain the Crypto Sphere and it's effective too, and in my opinion Fiat looks beautiful but sometimes what we see not necessary that, is good, so Fiat system is always suppressing aspect for many.

In my opinion the whole world have flaws so Steem is aspect of life so it's have flaws but it's really effective and it's changing many lives for sure.

And Crypto Sphere and Blockchain Technology are in infant stage and for sure it will going to improve gradually for sure.

Wishing you an great day and stay blessed. 🙂
