Bitcoin breakout to 10k?
I mentioned a couple weeks ago that Bitcoin, approaching 9000 USD, was due for a correction.
That correction appears to have happened:
There was a double-top at 9k, then a failed attempt to recapture that level, before a 17% plunge.
The 7500 level held, and Bitcoin recovered in its classic bowl pattern. Now it's using 9k as support, for a push off toward 10k.
Was that it?
The correction was fairly brief, and not as deep as I had thought it would be (I favoured a pierce of 6k). That tells me that if we continue to blast off, it won't be too much longer before there is a really significant pullback.
That said, I'm still sticking with my flawless predictions made over a year ago. 2019 will continue to be a year of recovery to 20k, then 2020 will see new all-time highs for Bitcoin and many other cryptos.
I hope Steem recovers soon. It was in the top 10 when I joined Steemit! When bitcoin makes new highs, it's hard to see Steem not doing something similar. But the way it has been acting, you never know!
Libra
PS: Stay away from FaceHook's 'Libra'. It's not decentralized, it's not private, it's not a crypto. It's just another digital currency, like Canadian Tire gift cards, or video game gold. Hold currencies you fully control. Besides, FB is known for their lack of privacy and their connection to the deep state. Stay far away from Libra.
DRutter
12 hours later, Bitcoin is at 9800 USD.
Steem has fallen to #69 on the cryptocap site :(
Now 24 hours later, Bitcoin is at 10200 USD.
A few days later, Bitcoin at 13000 USD, Steem down to #74.
10k happened and so did 11k pretty much.
Next stop 20k and then infinity lol
