Pairing Education With Blockchain: Live Edu, Teach And Get Rewarded
When I started to explore digital nomading, one of the revenue sources that I explored was teaching. I had a love and hate relationship with Udemy for a couple of years (made some money, but not an extraordinary big amount) and then I recently started to experiment with Skillshare.
The demand for teaching is strong, but the bottleneck is at the payment model level. How do you decided what teacher gets paid and for what? Skillshare, for instance, has a pay per minute model, in which the more minutes you get streamed, the more you get paid. I didn't get my first payment for my Blockchain 101 course there, so I can't evaluate how it works. But I do know teaching is a good, constant source of revenue, if done right.
That's why my left eyebrow raised slightly when I heard about Live Edu, because this Y Combinator alumni startup is pairing teaching with blockchain. The model is very similar with Steemit, from what I saw, but there are quite a few differences, which are enforcing quality and loyalty for the platform. If you really are interested, their FAQ section has a lot of information.
As with any project in fintech these days, there is also an ICO, which is actually going on as we speak. You can still get some Pre-Sale bonus until November 21st, but for all the nitty gritty stuff, it's better to head over to their site.
Disclaimer: I bought some tokens in the Pre-Sale event and the links are referral links. Proceed at your own will.

If you're new to Steemit, you may find these articles relevant (that's also part of my witness activity to support new members of the platform):
Curious @dragosroua, how they will 'enforce' quality and 'loyalty'....both very difficult things todo in a decentralized environment.
There is a certain requirement for a project to qualify for premium level (20 hours watched). Also, teachers are required to maintain a certain amount of stake in the platform, for a while.
If they perform a compulsory test after watching the video that would increase quality (not necessarily enforce it), still not sure about the loyalty factor, but look out for update on this coin. Following you so do let us know when there is a part 2 @dragosroua . Cheers
Up-Voted....thanks for the awareness, I like how we should reward teachers more!

Hello, Good Information :)
With so much stuff on steemit that's over promised and under delivered I usually stay away from ICOs. This looks like a great idea though so wish you the best of luck.
