Lightning Network May Come To Bitcoin Literally From Tomorrow
According to a Twitter user called Ferdous, Lightning Network may come to the Bitcoin network as soon as... tomorrow. As you can see from his tweet, he's quite excited about it.
But as excited as he may be, when asked for more proof about that, he wasn't able to give something more consistent:
That doesn't necessarily mean he's not right, just that the news wasn't confirmed from other sources. And it's not really news, but rather a potential development.
Lightning Network is a long awaited technology which will speed up the Bitcoin transactions by an order of magnitude. It works by opening "trusted channels" between two parties, which will bypass some of the most time consuming operations on the network.
Oh, one more thing, when asked about Lightning Network being in beta, Ferdous had a delicious answer:

STEEM, this is another quick block chain transaction system too. Not as lightening, but very quicker than most of other cryptos right! If BTC can make atleast that level, I like it most!
It will be amazing if the lightning system on Tuesday but it seems like the user has no cold hard evidence so I guess we will have to wait for a more credible source

Ferdous is just a guy who's tweeting about cryptos and Lightning Network is a technology which is in development for a few years.
