"Its good for cryptocurrency" I hear it all the time. Specifically when involving mainstream into the crypto world.

Things like banks making centralized alternatives to blockchain thus making it "more mainstream", like NASDAQ considering trading cryptocurrency, all sorts of topics about cryptocurrency "going mainstream".

Its not good. It may be for your pocketbook perhaps but its not good for cryptocurrency.

Cryptocurrency is set to eliminate banks and disrupt centralized control.

The more people accept centralized control because it "helps them make profits", the more harm it does to cryptocurrency.

It doesn't help cryptocurrency. The point of cryptocurreny has nothing to do with making profits - its about decentralization and eliminating banks.

Anyone who is in this for profits instead of for bank elimination and global decentralization - should lose everything they "invest" - because cryptocurrency isn't an investment - its a currency movement.

It won't be stopped, but its clear the battle lines are being drawn. The question one has to ask themselves are which side are they on.
