To be fair, if it is revealed that the 2 billion in "backed" tether really is just vapor.... that has huge implications for the market. While 2 billion in a 500 billion dollar market cap might be a drop in the bucket, that's not the metric we need to worry about. $2 billion, which is supporting some of the current inflated crypto prices, can cause an enormous amount of price movement, which is what I think many investors are worried about.
