The FMI Suggest that The Banks should be investing in cryptocurrencies
An International Monetary Fund (IMF) working paper suggests that banks should consider investing more in cryptocurrencies.
According to IMF staff responsible for the note, including prominent economists such as Dong He, Ross Leckow and Vikram Aksar, "rapid advances in digital technology are transforming the landscape of financial services", they believe that such transformations New opportunities for consumers as well as for service providers and regulators.
The ultimate message of the report appears to be that of support for cryptos, as it describes some of the ways in which the fintech industry might be able to provide consumer solutions related to trust, security, services and Privacy in this area.
