A big difference between the 1996 tech boom and this current one, is the wealth of information now available to assess these technologies with, and a way to actively engage with market sentiment, this article being a prime example.

It will be very interesting to look back at this all once the technology has matured. I have the feeling that even our highest expectations fall short of the technologies future utility.

Which coins win out though is anyones guess. :-)
