Bitcoin Futures Killing Bitcoin

It seems as if Bitcoin future has Bitcoin in check. The reason I'm saying this is if your a whale holding Bitcoin and bought a contract that has Bitcoin low at the end of it, they control the market. All they have to do is sell a hour or so before the end of the contract. As the price of Bitcoin drops this would trigger a lot of stop losses to go off helping the price drop. Now lets not forget about people that start to panic the might go sell crazy too. I have mixed feeling about futures since it relatively new. However all I've seen is selloffs at the end of each contract, I might make the switch to Bitcoin cash or Ethereum seeing the outcome of this contract.
