Bitcoin has not changed since the genesis blocked was mined. The only thing that is constantly changing is the media and public opinion's on it. It should be made very clear that yes, new innovations to bitcoin have been made such as segwit and the lightning network. These are not actual changes of bitcoin though, simply altercations to the way people can use bitcoin. Both of these things are positives anyways.

The media is manipulating everyone but a select few that realize what is going on. When you are selling your bitcoin, who do you think it buying it on the other side? Big Companies and investors that are the same people putting out the negative information regarding cryptocurrency. Once they have bought as much as they deem necessary, they will then put out lots of positive information about bitcoin on the news, people will buy in again, and it will go much higher.

DO NOT FALL VICTIM TO BIG MONEY.

Ignore the news articles, do as you chose. Bitcoin has not, bitcoin will not change. You believed in it at some point, there is absolutely no reason why you shouldn't now.

If you are in bitcoin soley to get rich, then get out, bitcoin isn't for you. If you are in bitcoin because you believe in the technology, then you are in the right place.
