What Coins are in the Fear Of Missing Out Pump?

BitCoin is still trying to figure out what it will do today. After being down to the $14k, it is back up halfway into the $15k. It looks like for the most part, the entire cryptocurrency market is taking a breather. As the trading starts for the new week in a few hours, we will probably see a shift upwards for BitCoin. Until then, let's look at some of the coins beating out BitCoin today.

First let's look at the two indexes.

Apparently, looking at either one of these won't give you an exact look on the coin prices. If the exchange doesn't meet certain criteria, it won't be included in the average price displayed. Both indexes use different methods, so you end up with different top 100 lists and different coins with different changes. A good example is looking at the number 1 FOMO coin of today, Decentraland (MANA)

While 4 satoshi doesn't seem like a lot, that's just an average. Showing a difference of 7% change increase, won't make much of a difference at 50%, but it could make a difference at a lower number. Anyway, thoughts to consider when you look at the indexes. The more important price is to look at the exchange that you have access to.

Of course, the indexes have a different number of exchanges they look at depending on the coin.

Anyway, 14 December, Decentraland is having a HardFork and coin burn. So, this virtual coin for buying virtual real estate will be pumped until the virtual cows come home in 4 days.
