Bitcoin is 10k! // What is Your Plan?

So... Bitcoin is at $10k. Higher now. Looks like 11k.... is that right? Wow. I think none of us really saw this coming at the beginning of the year. I remember around $2k I predicted it would hit $5k by the end of the year and everyone thought I was nuts. Now it's double that!

Let's be thankful for all the coins we picked up when it was cheaper and double check we have our passwords and pass-phrases and all that.

Now... what's next?

Now I've been investing in the stock market since I was a kid. My dad is an investment banker so talk around the house was always the stock market and I invested through him. One thing I've learned is always be prepared. If you are prepared you can take advantage of whatever happens next, boom or bust.

Let's all pause and decide what our plan is. Do it now. Because there might be a crash coming. A correction, if you will. Maybe not, but maybe; we need to be prepared for either case. If there is a crash, what are you going to do? What if it crashes back to 2k? Would it fall so much? Probably not, but it very well could.

If it falls so much you will hear nothing but doom and gloom everywhere. Don't panic! It will go back up if it falls. Maybe. So... what do you do?

• Do you hold your Bitcoin and just wait for the recovery?
• Do you sell immediately and then buy back in at the bottom?
• If so, where do you sell?
• Do you sell and invest in a different altcoin, or maybe even in gold?

Again, it may not crash. Or it may grow to 50k before it does. We have no idea. But it is useful to plan out what ever will do in every case, just so we are prepared when it happens.

Airplane pilots have checklists for every single possible situation. That is hundreds of checklists! Why? So that if and when an emergency happens, they know exactly what to do and can execute it flawlessly without thinking. There's actually a wonderful book about this that I completely recommend: The Checklist Manifesto.

Anyway.

Let me introduce you to a guy I follow on YouTube. Of all the voices on YouTube, I find his to be the most rational. He teaches fundamentals. He seems to be learning as he goes, but there's nothing wrong with that—he teaches well. And he gives good advice.
