My August 1 and Beyond Prediction...
My gut tells me the following:
1 - BTC will hit $3000 on August 1, then keep rising into the weekend, topping out at $3250..
2 - BCC will be a big bust.
3 - Altcoins will start to catch back up, but will still be in the red for a few days. Bargains will abound.
4 - I'll probably take a nap.

I agree with this prediction! I guess only time will tell if we are right..
Why the big rise after the fork? People breathing a sigh of relief when BCC crashes? FWIW, I agree that BCC will be a bit of a bust. It'll have some wild pumps in the coming months, but it's going to be dumped so hard by Bitcoin maximalists.
Sigh of relief, plus a realization that Bitcoin is benefiting from the ability to scale AND is still the backbone of the crypto economy.
