The Government Is Attempting to Pass Bill To Confiscate Our Cryptocurrency & Other Assets

Dramatic price drops are normal for the crypto community, but could there have been something that spurned or aided this latest drop? For those living in the United States or who travel through it, this is a HUGE RED FLAG. There's a new bill that is being pushed into the Senate called "Combating Money Laundering Terrorist Financing Counter-fitting Act of 2017".

I don't know about you, but the possibility of a terrorist attempting to attack me with a MyCelium Bitcoin wallet or a movie theater gift card keeps me up at night.... These people are insane.

What does the 2017 act address? They claim that Bitcoin is evil. Prepaid phones are evil. Electronic coupons are evil. Vouchers are evil. That the government would have the ability to cease these "illegal" types of money calling it "civil asset forfeiture". They have the ability to take everything you have, including bonds or other investments you might own.

This bill is focused on people who are coming in or out of the United States who would be required to claim any assets over $10,000, (This would include a paper wallet, encryption key, hardware wallet, etc.)

5 years is the current amount of time one might spend in jail for not correctly filling out one of these travel forms, however in this bill, they are attempting to double the penalty to 10 years.

If that's not enough, the bill gives them the authority to engage in surveillance and wire tapping, including phone, email, etc. (which they already do under the patriot act) In the case of court cases, the government could potentially use these taps to provide screenshots of balances and other personal pieces of information against you.

Usually wiretapping authority is used for major crimes like kidnapping, human trafficking, felony, fraud, terrorism, etc. however having this bill pass would allow them to do the same thing for you simply for owning cryptocurrency.

The bill calls to fund even more paid spies on any business or entity, that is prepaid. Credit cards, phones, ledgers, etc. This is a the first step of a government that wants to get an eye into what is going on in the crypto world, in your personal docs.

Money truly rules the world. Do you not think the elite who run is will do everything to stop Digital Currency?
