Three Major US Bank bans buying Bitcoin on credit cards

A sad news for the US citizens as according to Bloomberg (link below) three major banks "JPMorgan Chase & Co., Bank of America Corp. and Citigroup Inc." have halted the purchase of cryptocurrencies through their credit cards.

It is certainly very unfortunate with all the bitcoin craziness and the current value being down many people were buying up the bitcoin stock.

The purchasing of cyptocurrencies sure can be a issue for banks if customer bets wrong and cannot repay loans. Also risk of thieves who will probably use the stolen cards to purchase these untraceable cryptocurrencies.

It is also very difficult for banks to monitor out the transactions required to look for signs of money laundering.

really sad news

As these banks are incredibly evil, I see this as a good thing.

It will in the long term stabilize the market to people who are interested in freedom and not speculation.

Speculation hurts currencies, it makes people think of them as stocks and then new people to crypto are also less likely to take it as payment.

Mining and posting and selling something to someone for crypto will be the only way to hold it.

These banks want to see this technology destroyed as it threatens them and their control, so they themsleves will pump/dump it to cause this sort of chaos.

check out the bitshares market, someone right now is trying to dump 45 million at an annual low, do you really think that person thinks now is a good price to sell?

that looks to me like an offensive trade designed to destabilize the entire ecosystem.

Similar things happening on bitcoin, they took their profits now what they hold they can freely dump. rinse repeat.

Also I have noticed that there are several accounts on steemit that are clearly not legit users, who are just making up fake media and endess blabbering dtube videos and gang upvoting each other.

If those people take over the steemit blockchain they will erase everything, which is ultimately their goal, to prevent any individual human from having a voice.

choose your side, i'm on the hodl.
