Now all we need is more dApps which generate passive income. It's not cool to have to hold tokens which could go up and down. People prefer to get dividends while holding and why isn't that standard already? Once it becomes standard for people to get dividends from holding a token then we will see real long term holding.

I hope Peerplays changes things. They are supposed to offer dividends for holding the PPY and it launches next month.
