These altcoins are better in many aspects than bitcoin, they are very well positioned in blockchain technology, with investors, developers, collaborations etc.

Bitcoin may have "The longest blockchain" but that does not mean that this fact is definitive to have faith and to believe blindly. The hashrate of many blockchains and their underlying technology also make them very a valuable, this is why they have behaved better in the market, such as Steem and Ethereum
