on the global scale, no it's not important i agree 100%, but if you are trading to make more btc , knowing what the people you trade against can give you an edge, but as i said i take it with a grain of salt, as i don't believe the dinosaurs can really give proper rankings to this new asset class with 90% of it are obvious scams :)
