BTC - Consolidation after the Break Out

We are continuing to consolidate after the break out triggered by the sell off on tether. However, we still have important difference of price for the BTC depending of the exchange. I will continue to do my analysis based on Bitstamp as this is the one I always did. So on the chart of Bitstamp, we are staying just under the resistance line in violet after a test which failed. We should go test it again soon as the pattern we currently have is a bull flag. Let's see how the market will react in the coming days.

I don't think price has move far enough above the downtrend to be called a breakout just yet. Especially in light of the selling pressure it met. Looks to me that the buy stops got crushed and there was no buying left behind. I put this piece out on it a couple of days ago.
