Bitcoin dominance is measured by the market cap of each coin. Bitcoin has 50% of the market cap now because crypto investors flee to Bitcoin as a safety play or "risk off." This doesn't necessarily mean new money is coming in.

Of course. In the current market it means money is leaving altcoins at a faster rate than it is leaving bitcoin.
Bitcoin is attractive at this point if you are entering an accumulation phase of your investment portfolio. Alts are looking rather risky IMO.
