Loving litecoin. Another classic I've been a long time hodler of. Nice seeing new life breathed into this classic. SegWit is doing big things for LTC.
Yeh Segwit is for sure massive improvement, i just recently experianced the importance of it, where user of steemit suggested me to rather send transaction to him in LTC rather than BTC becouse it will be much quicker, and he was right, ...far quicker. BTC is at the moment completly clogged with unconfirmed transactions, supply creation was halved which somewhat turned away some miners, causing slowdown in transaction confirmation and from the other side there is big increase of interest in BTC from Asia which makes it even worse. In my opinion its just matter of time when BTC community comes to agreement that something has to be done to adress that, either fork or Segwit implementation or both, or perhaps something else that is even more benefitial.
Yeah, I've been waiting almost ten day for a small $14.00 transaction in BTC. Slow confirmation times are definitely an issue and need to be addressed by the community and dev team. My thoughts are, that if the bitcoin price is rising now, could you imagine what will happen once they get these transaction times fixed!
