The Magical Crypto Friends! SatoshiLite, Whale Panda, FluffyPony, and Samson

Charlie Lee, LiteCoin founder and former Operations Director at CoinBase (before they got shady) along with a few other characters who have a long history in this the first chapter of crypto-history, have gotten together for web-casts on the Magical Crypto Friends (MCF) network on youtube. If you have heard of any of the title mentioned Japanese anime memes, you can imagine the format of their webcast.

It begins, as any good anime cartoon with an amazingly amusing karaoke-like theme song complete with subtitles and catchy chorus. It features each of the MCF memes doing benevolent things to help others avoid evil scammers in the cartoon crypto world. Trust me, you'll be singing "Maaaaagical Bitcoins!" by the end. It was awesome.

Even more impressive is the perspective offered by the guests. Each member is experienced in their own right as programmers. A couple worked with Charlie on the LiteCoin project and Monero. LiteCoin is still one of my top 5 long term value coins and always has been. I also think Monero serves an important service for cryptocurrency.

Charlie has focused a lot of his time recently creating, testing, and getting ready the Lightning network, which if adopted on top of SegWit will allow amazing things to happen in the world of crypto. SegWit and Lightning network is the equivalent of building double-decker freeways instead of expanding the lanes. By staking lanes atop one another, the highway doesn't have to sprawl from 4 to 6 to 8 lanes wide, eventually crowding the housing subdivisions at its edges.

Besides making transactions faster and cheaper, overlaying networks will allow for atomic swaps between coins and other potential great ideas. The guests do an excellent job of discussing topics of the day in the crypto world, and their view is certainly tied to how SegWit, Lightning network, and LiteCoin will work with BitCoin in the future. It is priceless perspective from experts working on what we all be using next. Plus the cartoon is worth watching in and of itself. Check them out for an entertaining and educational time for all.
