Sad news from Hashflare

It is a sad day for all of us cryptocurrency miners using Hashflare.

Hashflare just announced that due to the "volatility and the limited stock mining hardware", they are forced to increase the price of SHA-256 from $2.20 to $2.40 per 10 gh/s. But Scrypt went down from $13.50per 1 MH/s to $11.50 per 1 MH/s. And they limit the duration of contracts to 1 year.

Existing lifetime contracts purchased prior to September 1, 2017 have also been affected, expiring on August 31, 2018.

It is a bummer. I think i will just withdraw any amount of bitcoin i have mined from hashflare from now onwards. I hope Genesis Mining continues strong. Investment on Scrypt sounds better now in Hashflare, althought it is only 1 year period. More details can be found on Hashflare's facebook post.

Don't you mean contracts purchased prior to September 1, 2017 expire August 31, 2018? You wrote August 31, 2017 - that's today.

Ahh, thank you for noticing the error. it should be 31 August 2018. My bad
