Byteball Airdrop on Full Moon, August 7 18:10 UTC

in #bitcoin7 years ago

Get some ByteBall for free, just for holding Bitcoin:

For every 16 BTC you receive 1 GB (1 gigabyte = 1 billion bytes).

So, for holding 1 BTC you'll get 0.0625 GBYTE, which is about 0.012 BTC (= 38 USD). Plus 2.1111 * 62.5 blackbytes.

To participate should hold your private keys for your bitcoins (use Electrum or any other BTC wallet to hold your bitcoins), so you can sign messages to confirm that you own them. Second, you need a Byteball wallet.

I wrote an instruction for the previous airdrop, and here's the updated one:

How to install

Download Byteball wallet from https://byteball.org/#download.
Install, open and accept the terms:

Then select if you want download the full blockchain data (full wallet). The light wallet would be enough:

Then give a name for the device:

Congrats! Now you have your Byteball wallet:

How to participate

On https://byteball.org/#dist click the link chat with the Transition Bot to participate in the distribution round. As a result your Byteball wallet app will open the bot, where you can generate a Byteball address:

Now you have two options, to either send a small amount of BTC to register your bitcoin address or just to sign a message to confirm that BTC address is yours:

The first option is simple, but you have to spend that small amount of BTC and the transaction fee. The second one has no expanses, but it's a bit more advanced. Here you can find a detailed instruction on how to sign a message with Electrum.

Here you go:
