Yeah slower than a lot of people imagined, but it effectively increased how many transactions can be done within a 10-minute window, lowered fees, removed ASICBOOST mining and didn’t require a hardfork to do so. We have a discrepancy: 95% of hashpower officially committed, yet the market thinks core will win. • How do you predict the next coin? Bear in mind that for sustainable growth it is usually something unique or that has a great team / partnership behind it or both. However, there’s a rotation of hot topics in crypto land. These fluctuate between:
• Privacy coins.
• Atomic Swap coins.
• Lending coins.
• Also predicting what the next flavor of the month could be lucrative. Universal wallet coins? Predictive market coins? Trade bot coins? Debit card coins? Social media coins? Airdrops? • I would never tell you guys what to buy, because inevitably if that were to cause a pump, some of you are going to get burned hard when you buy in at the all-time high. As far as I’m aware, pump groups, youtubers etc can raise awareness of a project, but can’t maintain sustainable growth. If the project is good, the market will sustain it itself. Can you imagine a chart where there is this huge spike, and then it just remains stable up there? For sure there would be examples, but for every example there would be 20 more of the opposite.
• Next year is going to be an interesting year I feel. I’ve looked into a lot of ICOs, and some of the best ones around are projects that started at least a year ago, with their ICOs actually releasing this year. Considering the huge growth that crypto currency has experienced this year (we are by no means main stream yet though consider) how many actually good businesses are now this very moment formulating the next big thing? One or two at least I guarantee you that. According to Coin schedule stats, the total amount raised during the ICO in 2017 is $2,345,301,347. Last year it was just $96,389,917! Bullish figures. Whether or not you feel they deserve to raise that much is up for you to decide.
• Market Update: Ripple is on the way up due to a conference in mid-October where there is some “news” coming out. Guys, I usually don’t say this. But let’s buy this bankers coin. Let’s show some support for the bankers. They get a lot of trash talk on this channel.
