Venezuela Invites OPEC Countries to Jointly Develop Petro

Venezuela’s president Nicolas Maduro has invited all Organization of Petroleum-Exporting Countries nations to put together develop a platform for the commercialism of oil-backed cryptocurrencies. South American country is getting ready for a pre-sale of the petro, its oil-backed cryptocurrency which may be wont to pay national taxes, fees, and public services. Maduro declared and extended the invite to non-OPEC countries, saying:

"I can formally propose to the Organization of Petroleum-Exporting Countries and non-OPEC countries that we tend to adopt a joint cryptocurrency mechanism backed by oil."
