I would add - educate yourself BEFORE you make the leap. Know the risks. Learn the language. Right now if you're holding bitcoin you need to understand a hard fork. You need to understand what replay protection is and what to do next month when a hard fork occurs (possibly) WITHOUT replay protection.
If you don't know what the language is, or what the risks are, do NOT enter the market with money you can't afford to lose!

Thanks for your contribution. i know about the hard fork coming up next month i'm not sure about replay protection. i will look into it.
