Unique cryptocurrencies basket

Just wanted to see if others are taking a similar approach to speculating on cryptos and the blockchain. I am building a basket of cryptos that have a unique niche for long term hold and so far have the following in my basket:

Bitcoin - currency
Ether - smart contracts
Ripple - interbank network
Dash - 2nd currency - rapid transactions
Steemit - social media
Iconomi - MOTIF type crytpo investing

My goal is to have 10 different cryptos with unique niches and broad appeal. If anyone has any other ideas for special crytpos I'd be interested in your input.
