From what I gather no, they need to be in the Litecoin core wallet which you get from the official Litecoin.org website, then after the snapshot you will be able to access them. I am planning to use the litecoin core wallet until after the snapshot then throw all my litecoins back into the exodus wallet before claiming my litecoincash just in case something fishy happens.
