Bitcoin has been going up for years but in the recent weeks it has been pretty far away from its all time high. Will it ever reach 1 million dollars.

I don't think it will ever reach 1 Million because of all the other currencies. Right now the general public doesn't know about all the other uses that come with the other coins. Once they do find all this out I think the way we use money and many other things will change as we know it. For example the website I'm using right now is steem. Steem has its own platform that you can make money from for nothing. You can't do that with Bitcoin. But saying all that I think we still need Bitcoin because it is a good starting point and will other people.
