That disturbing visual may be a joke, but bitcoin’s potential is no laughing matter, according to McAfee. In a tweetstorm that began Monday and is still raging, the eccentric techie laid out his bullish case and offered to take any bet to the contrary:

One the one hand, he is full of crap..
This guy knows how to use the press to his advantage, to boost whatever new venture he's got going. The ultimate ego-maniacal guy, but fun too ;-)
One the other hand, he's right; BTC is so completely undervalued in some ways, and will expand as it proves itself capable. He makes no mention it will have new capabilities, but will still be expensive, compared to new solutions coming down the pipe.
Obviously a BTC Maximalist, and yet ignores the fact BTC could be largely replaced by newer, faster, cheaper 3rd and 4th generation blockchains.
Satoshi himself imagined that due to the economics involved, eventually the satoshi would be the denomination used, and what does that mean, for BTC value (?)
Hard to imagine, 10, 20 years in the future... my experience so far, is BTC doubles every year in value now, for last 3 years. That would be a reasonable, manageable rate, and yet, doesn't take that long to reach his number either.
500, 1000, 2000, 4000, 8000, 16000, 32000, 64k, 128k, 256k, 512k <-- maybe 7 years?
